According to the MSME status, the government is considering dealers as it will allow them to make use of the benefits provided to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Tuesday 18th August 2020.

MSMEs will now be known as Udyam according to the notification released by the Ministry of Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) on 1st June 2020. And the process of registering a firm as an Udyam will be called Udyam Enrollment Registration. Government Udyam Registration Portal is a portal focused on self-declaration, without inserting or submitting any document/certificate/paper.

MSME registration more popularly known as Udyog Aadhaar Registration will be known as Udyam Registration. This Company registration will provide you with more benefits to enjoy Government Schemes. The notification says that hereafter, an MSME is called as Udyam. Accordingly, the registration process is going to be known as Udyam Enrollment Registration.

Section 43B(h) of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act 2006 in India instruction that buyers of goods or services from micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) must make payments within a required timeframe. This section was introduced to address the issue of delayed payments faced by MSMEs which can roundly affect their working capital and overall financial health.
